Uaxactún, is a Mayan site, which is about 25 km north of Tikal, in Petén, Guatemala. Its name in the antiquity was Siaan K’aan, which means born from the sky. This city was inhabited since the Middle Preclassic period, close to 900 B.C. and all the classic, having its maximum splendor from 500 to 900 A.D.
Departure from the hotels in the central area of Flores very early, for their land transfer to Uaxactún. (90 Km, approximately 2 hours), continuation towards the archaeological site by the Maya Biosphere Reserve, arrival with Uaxactún and visit of the archaeological site. Lunch at the agreed time with our guide, continuation towards the hotels of the area of flowers and surroundings.
